IMHX 2016

After three years of planning and preparation members of the Utz team were off to exhibit at the IMHX 2016 and what a great time was had by all meeting new and existing customers and here is what some of the Utz team had to say about their experience:

“It was great to meet up with existing customers and also obtain so many new leads with potential new customers who wish to improve their logistics supply chain with Utz. The visitors to our stand were very impressed that products were “made in Britain” produced locally in Derbyshire. Our working sample of the foldable pallet box (KLAPA) was a real crowd pleaser and surprised many by the ease of operation, robustness and quality”

Jason Parkin - Project Manager.

“I found the exhibition very successful along with my personal development and experience. I learnt a lot from how other companies exhibit and their presence on the stand! Overall, a fun week packed with lots of networking!”

Laura Carter - Key Account Manager

“After the months of planning the IMHX was finally here and I was looking forward to talking to people on our stand and showcasing our plastic storage and distribution solutions.  I was impressed with how our stand looked and the feedback from the visitors was also positive.  I felt that I had a good balance of time on the stand meeting people, both from existing customers and potential new ones, and time to walk around the exhibition and talk to some of the other exhibitors to find out more about how we might be able to work together in the future.  I’ve come away with a number of quality contacts to follow up and begin to develop some rapport with. Overall, I thought the exhibition went well for George Utz and we met influential people from a number of high profile organisations.”

Stuart Lockley - Key Account Manager.

“The IMHX in Birmingham was a good place to meet with a lot of logistic and supply chain professionals. The amount of extensive investments in the sector of material handling as well as systems encouraged us to present our products and solutions to a wide audience. The feedback from our existing customers and new leads with specific needs have been very fascinating. Automation will continue to increase, no doubt about that and the integration of an efficient operation will be part of all products involved of the supply chain. As a manufacturer George Utz, is aware that the improving safety standards in combination with clever ideas are key to provide all that. The IMHX was a great opportunity in showing our solutions for tomorrows logistic needs and today’s requirements.”

Roberto Matteis – Business Development Manager

“Visiting IMHX and supporting our Toyota apprentices on the Toyota/AMHSA Future Skills stand was a great opportunity to not only showcase the Toyota Apprenticeship Programme, but also promote the Utz brand along with our great apprentices recruited through the scheme”

Lisa Gibbs – HR Officer and Advisor

“This year’s IMHX stand was cleverly designed to ensure that there was enough floor space to enable customers to move around and view all our products. The wide range of products that we exhibited gave customers a good overview into what we manufacture as well as promoting other services that we can offer, including designing bespoke solutions and being able to personalise products if required. Overall the atmosphere was extremely positive and we worked hard to ensure our stand was inviting and approachable to the attendees of the show.”

Kevin Youens – Business Development Manager

The planning and preparation has already begun for the next exhibition in 2019. We hope to see you all there.
