In the automotive industry, plastic containers are predominantly used. These mainly consist of country-specifically standardised small load trays (KLT, VDA or GALIA) and large load trays (GLT). For special applications, other plastic containers are used, such as ESD containers for electronic components, hazardous goods containers, or component holders for fragile assembly parts. Combinations of these carriers are arranged on pallets to make complete transport units.
